Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process for engineering materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives and support manufacturing operations.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure optimal agreements and mitigate risks.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.
- Analyze market trends, identify potential suppliers, and maintain an up-to-date supplier database.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, quality discrepancies, and invoice disputes.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, cost analyses, and recommendations to management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in procurement within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze technical specifications and translate them into procurement requirements.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience working in an office-based, full-time role.
