Senior Procurement Officer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to manage end-to-end procurement activities for our steel door manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sourcing steel materials, hardware, and manufacturing consumables, along with proven supplier negotiation and relationship management skills. The role will ensure timely procurement, cost efficiency, and quality compliance to support production and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, components, and machinery used in steel door manufacturing.

• Forecast material requirements based on production schedules and sales orders.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Supplier Management

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with steel mills, hardware suppliers, and industrial vendors.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

• Conduct supplier performance reviews and audits to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance.

Procurement Operations

• Issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation), analyze supplier proposals, and select vendors based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.

• Create and manage purchase orders to ensure materials are delivered on time to support production.

• Maintain accurate procurement documentation, supplier records, and reporting.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all purchased materials meet company specifications and manufacturing standards.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, import requirements, and safety standards.

• Proactively manage risks related to supplier delays, shortages, or quality issues.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Supervise and mentor procurement staff when required.

• Collaborate closely with production, finance, warehouse, and quality teams to optimize procurement and inventory processes.
