Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. If you re driven by excellence in procurement and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we d love to connect with you.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide technical guidance, including preparation of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), bid evaluations, negotiation and award, for Capital Works Contracts, Purchase Orders, etc.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and internal procedures, while maintaining a high standard of quality across all activities.

  • Liaise with all stakeholders within the Client s organization to ensure receipt of process relevant input and buy-in as applicable.

  • Ensure congruence of Scope, Deliverables, and Payment Terms of work packages prior to issuance to bidders.

  • Soliciting proposals for work packages from multiple bidders, including preparing responses to bidder queries in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

  • Review of received proposals, and preparation of comparative assessment for Client review and approval.

  • Preparation and / or review of bespoke agreements where required to facilitate works package award.

  • Providing updates and data for Governmental Reports and Performance Monitoring Systems.

  • Coordinate procurement efforts across multiple departments, including project management, client teams, and other internal divisions, to ensure seamless execution.

  • Play an active role in the continuous Quality Improvement Process by fostering a culture of technical excellence and process enhancement.

  • Support the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with corporate ethics and conflict-of-interest policies.

  • Undertake additional responsibilities related to the role, as required by the business.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant procurement experience in engineering and construction industry.

  • Strong leadership capabilities and a solid track record across diverse procurement functions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of procurement regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
