Senior Procurement Superintendent

Lead and manage all procurement activities related to marine vessels, offshore operations, shipyard maintenance, and maritime projects.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with operational and business objectives.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, ship chandlers, OEMs, and service providers to achieve optimal commercial terms.
• Manage tendering, bid evaluations, contract awards, and supplier performance assessments.
• Ensure timely procurement of marine spare parts, technical equipment, consumables, and specialized services.
• Coordinate closely with technical, operations, finance, logistics, and project teams to support vessel schedules and operational requirements.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks within the maritime and offshore sectors.
• Maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors while ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and Qatar regulations.
• Oversee inventory optimization and material planning to minimize operational downtime.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with HSE standards, maritime regulations, and quality assurance requirements.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, KPIs, and management presentations.
• Mentor and supervise procurement officers and buyers within the department.
