Senior Product Designer

Lead the end-to-end product design process for new office furniture concepts, from ideation through prototyping and final production.

Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform innovative product development and maintain competitive advantage.

Develop detailed 2D and 3D design drawings, renderings, and specifications using industry-standard design software.

Oversee the creation and testing of prototypes, iterating designs based on feedback and technical constraints.

Ensure all product designs comply with relevant safety, ergonomic, and sustainability standards.

Present design concepts and progress updates to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.

Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the R&D department.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.

Stay abreast of emerging materials, technologies, and design methodologies relevant to office furniture and interiors.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in product design, preferably within the office furniture or interiors industry.

Proven track record of leading successful product development projects from concept to launch.

Expertise in 2D and 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino.

Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping techniques.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to diverse audiences.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience conducting market research and applying insights to product development.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Willingness to work onsite and engage directly with production and engineering teams.
