Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop new chocolate & confectionery recipes and improve existing ones
  • Prepare samples and support customer/private-label projects
  • Assist with factory trials: mixing, refining, conching, tempering, moulding, depositing
  • Help solve basic issues (viscosity, texture, taste)
  • Work on cost reduction and test alternative ingredients/suppliers
  • Do lab tests (moisture, viscosity, temper index) and document results
  • Prepare recipe sheets, reports, and specs with QA
  • Coordinate with Sales, Production, and QA during development
  • Support senior R&D staff and learn new techniques

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 7+ years of experience in chocolate/confectionery development
