Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Program Controls Engineer Reporting & Analytics. In this hands-on program-level role, you will be responsible for the development, integrity, and continuous improvement of PMO reporting across the Roads Program.
The role supports senior PMO leadership by transforming complex schedule, progress, cost, and change data into concise, accurate, and decision-ready reports. Reports to the Program Controls Director.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Work in close coordination with the PMO PRC Sr. Reporting Manager.
- Lead the preparation, coordination, and continuous enhancement of the PMO Weekly Progress Report.
- Develop new reporting products and dashboards from scratch where required to meet Client or PMO needs.
- Ensure reports are concise, accurate, internally consistent, and aligned with the department s governance framework.
- Consolidate inputs received from PMCMs and PMO managers across planning, progress, cost, and change.
- Verify internal consistency of reported data before inclusion in PMO-issued reports, ensuring alignment with the Integrated Master Schedule.
- Protect the integrity of PMO reporting under tight timelines and ad-hoc demands.
- Ability to translate raw technical data into material suitable for senior Client consumption.
- Proactively manage PMCM reporting interfaces to ensure timely, complete, and usable inputs.
- Coordinate closely with PMO discipline managers to clarify assumptions and reporting narratives.
- Challenge unclear, inconsistent, or low-quality inputs in line with governance expectations (without commercial approval authority).
- Respond rapidly to ad-hoc Client and PMO reporting requests.
- Produce short-notice executive summaries and analysis under pressure.
- Understand reporting from the reader s point of view,
- Ability to present to senior Client and PMO management audience.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineer with at least 10 years experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Planner or senior planner background (Project / Program level)
- Demonstrated experience producing senior-level PMO / PMC reports
- Expert-level in Primavera P6, MS Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint
- Exceptional attention to detail and internal consistency
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Confident dealing with PMCMs and senior PMO stakeholders
