Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Project Accounting & Cost Control
- Manage and monitor project accounts, budgets, revenues, and actual costs to ensure alignment with approved financial plans.
- Track and analyze project expenditures, commitments, and cost allocation across engineering and construction projects.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project cost reports and financial records.
- Monitor project profitability and support cost optimization initiatives.
- Review project-related invoices, subcontractor payments, and procurement costs.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and project-based financial reports.
- Analyze project financial performance and highlight key variances, risks, and financial trends.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management and project decisions.
- Support management with project cash flow analysis and forecasting.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the preparation and monitoring of project budgets and cost forecasts.
- Assist in project financial planning and cash flow management.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted costs and provide corrective recommendations.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial procedures.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation for all assigned projects.
- Support internal and external audits related to project finances and cost controls.
5. Coordination & Business Support
- Work closely with project managers, procurement, engineering, and finance teams to ensure financial accuracy and project efficiency.
- Provide financial support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support commercial and contractual reviews from a financial perspective when required.

Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 7 years of experience in project accounting, preferably within engineering or construction companies.
- Strong experience in project costing, financial control, and engineering project accounts.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, cost management, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and financial planning skills.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic.
