SENIOR PROJECT CONTROL & PLANNING ENGINEER

Provide cost & planning services in support of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning & start-up (CSU) activities.

Develop, in conjunction with project engineers, design engineers, construction engineers, activity plans/schedules for projects engineering, procurement, construction, CSU activities.

Integrated Activity Planner at Coastal is under this position overall planning

Build overall plans and schedules for the execution phase of projects, provides plans and schedules for ad-hoc construction service requests, integrated plans.

Responsible for work activity progress reporting and regular update of plans and schedules. Work in close co-operation with Company Engineering & Operations planning department, for engineering, construction, and CSU planning, inclusive reporting, Primavera P6 entry, SAP daily service entry, and Bi-weekly/Monthly reports submissions. Resource optimisation / prioritisation in conjunction with Project Engineers / Construction Co-ordinators(s).

Early warning of plan delays and proposals for mitigation to Project Engineers / Construction Coordinators for resolution. Provide assistance in job preparation to Project Engineers.

Responsible to implement Systems related to Project Management, internal & external dashboards to communicate cost and schedule performance to teams in real time. Responsible to implement a standardized suite of cost and schedule reports that enable senior management to make data driven decisions

Responsible to train the project planning team, QS etc on the application of effective planning techniques and controls (earned value, cost and schedule variance, estimates at completion, critical path analysis).

Responsible to perform trend analysis and actively evaluate project cost and schedule performance to identify potential risk areas, validate forecasts, and communicate those quickly to key stakeholders
