Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of multi-disciplinary projects (Civil & MEP). The ideal candidate has 12–15+ years of project management experience with a civil engineering background, and a proven track record delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality, HSE, and client expectations. Valid Omani Driving License is mandatory.

  • Lead full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, permitting, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning, handover, and close-out.
  • Develop and own project baseline (scope, schedule, cost, quality, HSE, risk, communications).
  • Prepare detailed project schedules (WBS, critical path), resource plans, and cashflow; monitor progress and implement recovery plans where needed.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, variations/claims, and monthly reporting (progress, KPI, earned value).
  • Oversee Civil works (earthworks, structures, finishes) and MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, ELV) ensuring design compliance and coordination.
  • Lead contracts and procurement: vendor prequalification, tendering, technical/economic evaluation, award recommendations, and supplier performance.
  • Chair progress and coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients; drive decisions and clear roadblocks.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE plans, method statements, permits to work, and local authority requirements (CDAA, Municipalities, Utilities, etc.).
  • Implement QA/QC processes (ITPs, MIRs, WIRs, inspections, testing, snagging/de-snagging).
  • Manage risks and opportunities; maintain risk registers and mitigation actions.
  • Review/approve shop drawings, material submittals, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and training.
  • Lead commissioning, performance testing, and successful handover with complete documentation.
  • Build, mentor, and appraise project teams; foster high-performance culture and subcontractor alignment.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure client satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 12–15+ years total experience with at least 8 years in project management for building/infrastructure projects.
  • Proven delivery of multi-disciplinary projects with significant MEP scope.
  • Strong command of project management methodologies and controls (scope, change, cost, schedule, risk).
  • Solid knowledge of Omani/GCC codes, authority procedures, and permitting.
  • Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6; MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Power BI a plus).
  • Professional certifications such as PMP/PRINCE2 are an advantage.
  • Valid Omani Driving License (mandatory).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
