Senior Project Manager Masterplanned Residential Development Omnium International Limited

Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of key workstreams during the post-contract phase, ensuring delivery is aligned with programme, budget, and quality expectations.

The role requires a proactive, confident and technically capable professional who is comfortable operating within a high-profile, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the client, consultants, and contractors to coordinate delivery, manage risk, and drive performance across all aspects of the project.

This position suits someone who combines strong organisational and communication skills with a hands-on approach able to take ownership, solve problems, and contribute to the successful delivery of a complex, high-value development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act as a key point of contact for the client and stakeholders, supporting the management of relationships and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Manage the post-contract delivery of defined project packages or workstreams, ensuring performance against scope, programme, and budget.
• Support the development and implementation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP), contributing to delivery strategy, milestones, and resource planning.
• Implement project governance processes, ensuring adherence to reporting, communication, and decision-making protocols.
• Administer contracts and support procurement activities, including the management of consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project budgets and track costs, supporting financial control and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and change requests, implementing effective mitigation measures.
• Oversee quality assurance for assigned packages, ensuring compliance with design intent, technical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across site and office functions, driving collaboration and performance.
• Prepare and deliver regular project reports, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and key actions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation in line with governance and audit requirements.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, supporting lessons learned and best practice across the project.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years total experience in construction project management, with a strong track record delivering large-scale building projects through the post-contract phase.
• Proven PMC / consultancy-side background, with experience working on high-value luxury residential or hospitality developments (AED 1bn+).
• Prior experience working within the UAE construction market, with a good understanding of local regulations and delivery practices.
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to monitor budgets, track costs, and support financial control.
• Sound understanding of contract administration and the ability to manage contractual processes effectively.
• Technically competent, with a solid understanding of construction methodologies and quality assurance processes.
• Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A collaborative and hands-on approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
