Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Education

High school diploma with six years of relevant professional experience; or,
Bachelor s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Sciences or a related field from an accredited academic institution with a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience.

Experience

Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations.
Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups.
Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organizations in a multicultural setting is an advantage.

Skills

Knowledge of protection principles and data protection guidelines.
Strong research, writing, communication, and analytical skills; ability to draft clear and concise reports.
Good filing and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain effective working relationships.
Proficiency in drafting routine correspondence and reports in English and French .
Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
Familiarity with administrative processes is an advantage.
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Languages
  • For this position, fluency in English and French is required (oral and written).
