SENIOR PSYCHOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (Gen. Org.)

Provides comprehensive care to patients Clinical Psychology. Conducts research, therapeutic sessions, family and patient counselling, patient interviews, and assessment tests, and designs and implements behavior modification programs.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Provide the highest quality, multi-specialist technical expertise and support to staff and family and patient. Serves as a primary source of expertise when demonstrating the safe use of specialist Psychological equipment, software and techniques to staff.
2. Obtains patient's data and medical history through patient and family interviews and through observation of patient's behaviour.
3. Provides direct implementation of programming within a one to one teaching environment or small groupteaching environment and collects data within direct implementation of programing.
4. Responsible for graphing data collected on a daily basis, summarizes, and draws analysis from data.
5. Evaluates client progress and adjust programming as needed and provides closed observation to therapists (BCaBA/RBT)
6. Participates in clinical, basic, and translational research projects and publishes papers in accordance with Research Advisory Council Policy in order to advance knowledge, improves the quality of postgraduate education, and contributes to the national and international recognition of the Hospital.
7. Assigns work to Psychology Technologist and ensures that assigned work is completed. Resolves issues related to patient schedules and enhances patients flow in assigned area.
8. Registers detailed medical history, creates a plan for patient management, and follows up for discussion with the treatment team headed by a consultant.
