Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans that align with organizational goals, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels while mitigating risks.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and assess industry trends, ensuring competitive sourcing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations, to forecast purchasing needs and budget requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within a Precast , Construction and Infrastructure industry such as manufacturing or retail.
Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) are highly desirable.
Proven expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management, demonstrating a track record of successful negotiations.
