Senior Python Developer for Test TASC Outsourcing

About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Python Developer for Test based in Ganga, Pune. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our Python-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robust test strategies into CI/CD pipelines and mentor junior engineers. Responsibilities: Design and implement automated test frameworks and tools using Python Develop and maintain test suites for Django and FastAPI applications Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to validate system functionality Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines Perform code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with teams to resolve issues Continuously optimize test coverage, performance, and reliability Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices in testing and automation Required Qualifications: 2–6 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on testing Strong proficiency in Python and solid understanding of OOP concepts Hands-on experience with Django and FastAPI frameworks Experience designing system architecture to support testability and scalability Proven ability to write automated tests using pytest, unittest, or similar frameworks Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with performance, security, or load testing tools Knowledge of behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks like Behave or Cucumber Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Prior experience mentoring or leading testing initiatives
