Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The role includes close collaboration with Product owners, QA's, DevOps and Security teams to ensure Test automation best practices, code quality, increased the testability of code and improve the quality of deliverables by continuous regression testing.

  • Development of automation tests based on ACs ,Ticket analysis and test planning.
  • Support/ Implement the deployment process of test environments and be able to debug them.
  • Conduct code reviews following best engineering practices and coding standards
  • Responsible for the CI/CD(build, test, deploy)
  • Setup and maintain test automation framework & infrastructure
  • Responsible for generating Automated Test Reports

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 Years of experience working as a Software Engineer in Test, Developer or DevOps
  • Ability to code in at least some of the following programming languages: Java, Groovy, Python, JavaScript, Typescript.
  • Experience in applying automation frameworks including the following tools: Spock, Selenium, Cypress, webdriver.io, Playwright or similar.
  • Experience in testing and developing Webservices (REST or SOAP).
  • A good appreciation on of coding standards and design best practices and a keen desire to apply them.
  • Ability to apply the test pyramid during Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • University Level Degree (at post graduate level is a plus) in Computer Science, Information Technology or are relevant field of study
