Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive automated test plans and scenarios based on functional and technical specifications.
- Develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using standard tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with development, product and quality assurance teams to ensure optimal test coverage and rapid identification of anomalies.
- Analyze test results, document and track issues, and propose solutions to improve overall product quality.
- Implement and optimize automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the quality assurance process.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in test automation.
- Contribute to the development of testing standards and methodologies within the organization.
Desired Candidate Profile
You are an engineer or have a master's degree in computer science.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation
- Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit or TestNG
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java or JavaScript
- Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Demonstrated experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- In-depth knowledge of software development processes and testing strategies
- Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, performance testing and regression testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Software testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CFTL) are an asset.
- Experience with large-scale projects or complex systems is highly desirable.
