Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain manual test cases for web and mobile apps in the current setup
  • Leverage prior automation experience to define the future automation strategy, tools, and frameworks
  • Create reusable, scalable automated test scripts and support framework implementation (future scope)
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure high quality across all environments and product stages
  • Support test planning, documentation, and defect management
  • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and testing standards
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to align automation within CI/CD pipelines

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills

  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
  • Proven experience in QA automation (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar)
  • Strong background in manual testing with the ability to define comprehensive test plans
  • Experience designing or rolling out automation frameworks
  • Good understanding of DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Certified in ISTQB Foundation Level (Advanced level is a plus)
  • Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Xray)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in API testing with tools like Postman
  • Familiarity with performance or security testing
  • Background in transport, mobility, or e-commerce sectors
  • Knowledge of scripting (Python, JS, or Bash) to support automation or tooling

Soft Skills

  • Strong ownership and ability to operate autonomously
  • Analytical and structured, with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to prepare and lead a transformation from manual to automated QA
  • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration
