Senior QAQC Engineer – Finishing Fitout (5-Star Hotel Project in IRAQ) Estithmar Holding

We are looking for an experienced Senior QAQC Engineer with at least 10 years of proven expertise in quality assurance and quality control within finishing and fitout works in the GCC region. The candidate must have a civil engineering background and be willing to relocate to Iraq to oversee QAQC activities on a prestigious 5-star hotel construction project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce QAQC procedures and policies specifically for architectural finishing and fitout works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
• Perform regular inspections, quality audits, and material testing to ensure all finishing and fitout work meets the highest standards of workmanship and quality.
• Review and approve quality documentation including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strict quality controls throughout the construction phases.
• Identify potential quality issues early, provide technical solutions, and ensure timely corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with local Iraqi construction regulations and international quality and safety standards.
• Lead and mentor junior QAQC personnel, promoting best practices and continuous improvement in quality management.
• Prepare and submit detailed quality reports, documentation, and certifications for client and management review.
