Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification IRCA.
ASNT Level II certification in RT, UT, MT, and PT.
CSWIP 3.2 or AWS-CWI, or another equivalent certification approved by the Company.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Experience Requirements
Minimum 15 years of experience as QC Engineer within Oil & Gas projects.
Demonstrated experience working on API 650 Storage Tank Site installation projects.
Practical experience in welding inspection, NDT inspection, activities.
Experience coordinating with Third Party Inspection Agencies and Client representatives.
Strong background in quality documentation, inspection reporting, and NCR management.
Capable of manging QC inspection under his guidance
Strong coordination and reporting skills and tracking of inspection documentation
Good command of project quality auditing and inspection processes.
Strong knowledge of welding inspection and NDT coordination.
Fluent English communication skills.
Prior experience working on ADNOC project s and specifically experience working with AGES Standards
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality inspections during tank fabrication and erection activities.
Ensure compliance with API 650, project specifications, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
Witness and verify welding activities and NDT testing.
Review and verify inspection reports and quality documentation.
Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where applicable.
Coordinate inspections with Contractor, Client, and Third-Party Inspection Agencies.
Support quality audits and project quality reporting.
