Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of welding procedures, ensuring adherence to WPS, and client specifications, minimizing weld defects and maximizing structural integrity.
  • Oversee welder qualifications and performance, verifying compliance with relevant codes and standards, and providing guidance for improvement.
  • Review and approve welding documentation, including WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and NDT inspections of welded joints, utilizing advanced techniques like phased array UT and radiography.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field to establish a strong foundation.

  • Saudi Aramco Experience is a super advantage.

  • Holds a valid Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from AWS, or equivalent, demonstrating professional competence.

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in welding inspection, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Generation industries to ensure industry-specific expertise.

  • Demonstrates expertise in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods (RT, UT, MT, PT), with relevant certifications.
