Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Task Description:

  • Responsible for coordinating the planning and delivery of the Health, Safety and
  • Environmental risks management requirements for all works within the contract
    scope, for the portfolio assigned by the Project Director / Project Manager
  • Responsible for reviewing training standards for all FMS and sub-contractors
    QHSE staff and providing feedback against industry best practice.
  • Responsible for the training and implementation of the PMS Procedure including
    observations / NCRs to ensure the FMS is complying with contractual
    deliverables, SLA s and health, safety and environmental standards, to ensure a
    continual improvement process is fully embedded
  • Responsible for monitoring and auditing Quality, Health, Safety and
    Environmental Management of all DAB, FMS and all appointed vendors activities
    throughout the contract.
  • Reasonable for the implementation of the restricted places register, permit to
    work systems, legal risk register, aspects and impacts register training plan
    including Toolbox Talks.

Contract Scope of work requirements:

  • Ensure contract governance in line with top international QHSE policies and
    procedures.
  • Develop, maintain and improve the business integrated management system to
    support QHSE and operating standards.
  • Maintain a contract risk register, reviewing QHSE risks and escalating where
    appropriate.
  • Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and
    understanding of QHSE standards and the relevance to business objectives.
  • Implement the crisis management plan across all the projects and ensure a
    strong line of escalation exists.
  • Provide a single business focus for accident and incident reporting and assist
    with subsequent investigation process.
  • Develop business continuity plans for all service streams.
  • Implement and audit to achieve compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and OSHAS
    18001.
  • Provide leadership to support the management of supply chains and compliance
    with QHSE standards through point of work assessments.
  • Ensure appropriate resources are provided to support a compliant business and
    to identify any systematic weaknesses.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Minimum H&S Diploma & NEBOSH qualifications, IEMA is preferable.
  • 10+ years in Health and Safety Management Experience of which 3 years must be in Facilities management.
