Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and management of detailed cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary limits throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct rigorous contract analysis and risk assessments to mitigate potential financial pitfalls and safeguard the project's profitability.
  • Oversee procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best terms without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and engineering teams to track project progress, identifying and addressing any discrepancies in cost forecasts.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with a strong foundation in construction management principles.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the commercial and residential construction sectors.
  • Professional certification such as MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale projects, demonstrating an ability to deliver results on time and within budget.
