Roles & Responsibilities

Overview

The Senior Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all facility management operations comply with established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations. This role oversees quality assurance processes, document control systems, and audits to maintain operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Your role

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor quality performance indicators and prepare reports for management review.
  • Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on QA/QC procedures and compliance requirements.

Document Control & EDMS Management

  • Manage Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for controlled documents, including SOPs, policies, and records.
  • Ensure proper version control, approval workflows, and secure storage of all quality-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits, inspections, and compliance reports.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices in quality and document control.
  • Stay updated on ISO standards and facility management industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality objectives are met across all operations.

Skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills for junior QA staff.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and compliance culture.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: BSc degree in Engineering or Quality Management.

Certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (mandatory).

Experience: Minimum 5+ years in QA/QC and document control within facility management or projects of similar scope.

Strong background in EDMS and audit processes.

Excellent knowledge of ISO standards and quality management principles.

Proficiency in MS Office and QMS software.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
