Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Own the QA lifecycle from planning to release, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Define and maintain scalable QA frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Create and manage test cases, suites, and execution cycles using TestRail or similar tools.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and Appium.
• Utilize AI-driven testing tools to improve test generation, execution efficiency, and defect detection.
• Perform manual testing when needed, including functional, regression, exploratory, and security testing.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define clear, testable acceptance criteria.
• Manage defect lifecycle in Jira, ensuring accurate tracking, prioritization, and reporting.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide QA reporting, insights, and demos to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of QA experience across manual and automation testing.
• Strong experience building automation frameworks using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Appium.
• Solid API testing experience using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, TestRail, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Exposure to AI-based testing tools is a plus.
