Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement quality control procedures on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Review and approve materials, workmanship, and construction methods to ensure alignment with contract requirements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed quality control documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance records.
- Monitor and verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for identified quality issues.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors and laboratories for material testing and certification.
- Provide training and guidance to site staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings to report on quality performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all quality control activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil/Architecture Engineering.
5 to 7 years of proven experience in quality control within the engineering and construction industry.
Extensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards.
Strong understanding of relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Demonstrated ability to conduct site inspections and audits effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams.
Proficiency in quality management systems and documentation.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
Commitment to upholding safety and environmental standards at all times.
