Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of cost estimates and budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments for projects, identifying potential cost implications and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the procurement process, evaluating supplier bids and negotiating contracts to achieve favorable terms for the organization.
- Manage project cash flow through rigorous financial forecasting and reporting, ensuring timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, with a strong academic track record.
- Professional certification such as MRICS or equivalent, demonstrating commitment to industry standards and best practices.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, with a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects.
- Experience in both public and private sector projects, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and cost drivers.
