Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Review and certify advance and interim payment applications to the Employer.
  • Monitor and update project cash flow forecasts.
  • Prepare, process, and evaluate variation orders in line with contract terms.
  • Maintain strict control and tracking of quantities and variations.
  • Liaise closely with the Employer s Agent or assigned contract administrator.
  • Prepare and submit Monthly Cost Reports in the Employer s prescribed format.
  • Prepare tender documents and related documentation for provisional sums.
  • Provide Techno-Commercial assessments for packages or subcontracts nominated by the Employer.
  • Support and contribute to value engineering initiatives from a cost perspective.
  • Manage LC-related processes, including: gathering and submitting Contractor documents to the Employer prior to LC issuance.
  • Coordinating with the Contractor to ensure timely collection of LC recovery cheques, as per the terms of the contract and interim payment certificates.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Candidates must have experience working for both a consultancy firm and a developer.
  • Knowledge of contract administration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT and QS software such as CostX, Planswift, or AutoCAD.
  • Experience in hotel, residential, and commercial projects is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to manage workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • High degree of numeracy with financial
