JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of this role is to manage all costs related to projects from initial calculation to final figures. Looking to minimize cost of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality

Experience in Facades in a Must

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description

• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.

• Identifies labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, drawings, specifications and related documents.

• Computes costs by analysing labour, material, and time requirements.

• Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.

• Gather quotation from vendors for project materials/items and prepare comparison statement.

• Attend meeting with clients as and when needed and provide technical support/clarification.

• Prepare variation orders and other supporting documents as needed.

• Undertake cost analysis for the completed projects.

• Value completed work and co-ordinate for payments.

• Liaison with estimating to take responsibility of projects from contract award through to Final Account agreement.

• Cost Management & Control

• CVR reporting and forecasting

• Reporting step by step progress to Senior management

• Review and compilation of supply chain contract documentation

• Measurement, pricing and valuation of post contract variations

• Producing and submitting applications for payment

• Client facing contract administration across several forms of contract including the standard forms.
