SENIOR RADIATION THERAPIST King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (Gen. Org.)

1. Liaises with Physicians, Medical Physicists, Supervisors, Head Nurse, and Radiation Therapists to schedule patients.

2. Maintains all necessary supplies and materials. Ensures that equipment is functioning properly and safety standards are maintained at all times.

3. Ensures optimum utilization of equipment and maximum use of resources.

4. Maintains effective and efficient communication between staff group within and outside of the Department.

5. Assists with departmental and Hospital Performance Improvement (PI) Plan.

6. Evaluates quality assurance and quality control data and maintains the required records.

7. Enhances professional growth and development through continuing education.

8. Assists with training and orientation of new employees.

9. Demonstrates higher level to treat or image own specialist workload of patients and maintain relevant documents/e-charting.

10. Rotates between areas as experienced practitioner.

11. Participates in departmental projects or teaching sessions.

12. Follows all Hospital related Policies and Procedures.

13. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.

14. Performs other related duties as assigned.
