Roles & Responsibilities
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as Senior Reporter, MiddleEast Energy. As a Senior Reporter, you will participate actively in the sourcing, confirming, and writing of exclusive news about project finance and acquisition finance transactions. Produce content on a daily basis. Build relationship with LPs, GPs, banks, developers, advisors and SWFs.Key ResponsibilitiesWrite 15 pieces of proprietary content per month on the Middle East renewables, and power & energy marketsActively track transactions and source intelligence on new transactionsCoordinate with Infralogic colleagues, as well as DW and MM teams when warranted on cross-product coverageCover both greenfield and M&A financing and capital markets as it concerns project finance Write at least one feature article, 1,200 words, every other month Plan and record a podcast at least once per quarter to increase engagement Required Skills, Qualifications And Experience Knowledge of the financial market, with proven record of reporting exclusivesAt least six years of reporting experience in a reputable newsroom, with global exposureProven record of breaking news for a media organisation, as well as writing in-depth analysesAbility to spot trends in market data and conduct research to identify and produce reportsTrack record of building network of sources to produce reportsStrong news and analyses writing skillsAbout UsWe re a diverse group of visionary innovators who provide trading and workflow automation software, high-value analytics, and strategic consulting to corporations, central banks, financial institutions, and governments.
