The senior reporting manager is responsible for leading reporting within the project controls function across a complex programme, ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful reporting to internal and external stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in supporting programme delivery through effective data management, risk reporting, change tracking, and performance analysis.
You ll be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain tools/forms to collect programme status from stakeholders.
- Manage production, validation, and distribution of regular and ad-hoc reports.
- Establish and oversee timelines for report submissions and reviews.
- Consolidate, review, and issue dashboards; escalate risks/issues as needed.
- Define dashboard requirements and ensure delivery aligns with user needs.
- Implement consistent reporting procedures and conduct quality reviews.
- Use SharePoint, PowerBI, PMIS, and data modelling to ensure traceable, reliable insights.
- Support cost, schedule, change, risk, and performance reporting processes.
- Facilitate reviews, ensure transparent reporting, and respond professionally.
- Identify process enhancements and stay updated on best practices and tools.
You ll need to have:
- Bachelor s in engineering or related field; PMP certified; active membership or pursuit of professional bodies (e.g., RICS, APM).
- Extensive experience in consultancy/construction sectors with strong leadership across large teams.
- Skilled in cost, schedule, change, and risk management; familiar with reporting frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong data interpretation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills; high emotional intelligence.
- Proven ability to mentor, foster positive culture, and implement effective processes and behavioural values.
Desired Candidate Profile
You ll need to have:
