Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the review of architectural and engineering drawings for retail spaces to ensure they meet leasing requirements and standards
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other consultants to optimize the design of retail units for functionality and tenant fit out
  • Provide expert technical input to the commercial leasing team regarding the feasibility and potential modifications of retail spaces for prospective tenants
  • Oversee the development of technical specifications and guidelines for tenant fit-outs
  • Coordinate with project management and construction teams to ensure the timely and quality execution of retail unit construction and any tenant-specific modifications.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of construction related to retail spaces
  • Lead the resolution of complex technical issues that may arise during the development and leasing process
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations relevant to retail developments in El Gouna.
  • Contribute to value engineering efforts to optimize costs without compromising quality or functionality of retail spaces
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation related to retail unit development
  • Support the handover process of retail units to tenants, ensuring all technical aspects are completed.
  • Manage and coordinate with external consultants and contractors

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in development or construction, with significant exposure to retail projects
  • Extensive understanding of building systems, construction processes, and relevant regulations
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, and coordination abilities
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant technical software. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
