Roles & Responsibilities

Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities and increase sales.

  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute sales plans, including setting targets, developing promotional strategies, and coordinating with the sales team.

  • Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Market Research: Identify and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the maintenance and repair welding products & service sector.

  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest products and technologies in welding and maintenance and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.

  • Reporting: Track sales performance, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.

  • Payment: Ensuring timely payment collection from direct business & through distributor.

  • Coordination: Coordinate with supply chain and production dept for drawings, jobs, stocks, and logistics.

6+ years, in welding background with preferable experience of handling core sectors like Cement, Mining, Power

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Holds AWS Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
  • Demonstrates 7+ years of experience in the welding industry, with a focus on sales engineering or technical sales.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of various welding processes (e.g., GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW) and their applications.
