Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement export sales strategies aligned with the company s overall business objectives.
- Lead international market expansion initiatives for consumer goods and FMCG products.
- Manage key export accounts, distributors, and agents, ensuring long-term partnerships and profitability.
- Set export sales targets, budgets, and forecasts, and monitor performance against KPIs.
- Lead commercial negotiations with international clients, including pricing, payment terms, contracts, and INCOTERMS.
- Oversee the full export sales cycle from lead generation to order execution and collection.
- Coordinate closely with production, planning, logistics, finance, and quality teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Analyze global market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare strategic export sales reports and present insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, company policies, and commercial best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior sales and export team members and contribute to team development.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 10 years of experience in export sales, preferably within Consumer Goods or FMCG.
- Proven managerial or senior-level experience in international sales and export business development.
- Strong commercial and strategic planning capabilities.
- Solid knowledge of export regulations, international trade practices, and INCOTERMS.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Ability to manage multiple markets and high-value accounts simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience exporting Egyptian consumer goods to Africa, Gulf, and European markets.
- Knowledge of international payment methods (LC, TT, collections).
- Additional foreign languages are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and presentation skills.
