Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly sales targets, room nights, and new business goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key corporate, group, and travel trade accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities through sales calls, blitz, and market research.
  • Negotiate contracts and renewals to maximize revenue.
  • Prepare sales reports, market analysis, and update management on performance.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, Banquets, Reservations, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle VIP guests, ensure personalized service, and support guest satisfaction.
  • Follow up with clients before, during, and after events/stays to encourage repeat business.
  • Participate in trade shows, networking events, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and contribute to market strategy.

Qualifications

  • Achieve sales goals by managing the sales team.
  • A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and sales productivity.
  • Commercially astute, multi-tasker who is motivated by challenge.
  • Driven and ambitious to increase productivity and sales volume with appropriate techniques.
  • Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to enhance the hotels community image.
