Senior SAP Consultant

About the client:

Our client is a government-owned entity in Saudi Arabia focused on enhancing cybersecurity across critical industrial infrastructure. They are responsible for implementing governance, risk management, and compliance measures aligned with global cybersecurity standards. The organization works closely with various internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and the protection of essential control systems across multiple sites.

About the Role

We re looking for a Senior SAP Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of SAP MM and EWM solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide supply chain and logistics strategies. The role demands deep functional expertise, cross-module integration capabilities,

and leadership in both project delivery and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership

Lead blueprinting, configuration, and deployment of SAP MM and EWM modules across multiple business units.

Drive solution fit-gap analysis, process modeling, and validation workshops in line with SAP Activate methodology.

Serve as the primary escalation point for complex production issues (L2/L3), coordinating with business and technical teams

SAP MM Expertise

Oversee procurement lifecycle: PR to PO, vendor evaluation, release strategies, and invoice verification.

Manage inventory processes including batch management, valuation, and physical inventory.

Integrate MM with other modules (FI, SD, PM) and external procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba)

SAP EWM Expertise

Architect and implement EWM solutions for inbound/outbound logistics, warehouse structure, and RF framework.

Configure advanced features like slotting, wave management, and labor management.

Ensure seamless integration with SAP TM, MM, and third-party logistics systems

Project & Change Management

Lead project planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation for SAP rollouts and enhancements.

Manage change requests, emergency transports, and ensure compliance with ITIL and audit standards

Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation practices.

Requirements

Bachelor s Degree in IT, Computer Science or similar field.

12+ years of relevant experience across multiple IT Applications areas

Minimum of 12 years of SAP experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support

projects

Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred

Knowledgeable in at least one of the core functional domains

Skilled in blueprinting, fit gap analysis, configuration, and functional design of custom

components.

Fluent in Microsoft Visio or any other business process diagramming tool

Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time

Experience in a professional service or a distribution company is a plus

Hands-on capability in data migration and data preparation, Integration analysis and design, and

testing and deployment

SAP Certified in MM, EWM, ARIBA Mandatory

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) preferred.

ITIL 4 Foundation certification preferred.

SAP MM: Procurement, Inventory, Release Strategies, Vendor Management.

SAP EWM: Warehouse Layout, Handling Units, RF, Slotting, Integration with TM.

Tools: SAP Fiori, BRF+, LSMW, Solution Manager, SNOW, HP ALM.

Soft Skills: Leadership, stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, and cross-functional

collaboration.

Language Skills Excellent command of Arabic & English Language.
