Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are expanding our team and hiring a Senior SEO Executive to support our growing client portfolio.

ResponsibilitiesTechnical SEO

  • Conduct full technical audits and identify issues across websites of various sizes (startups, marketplaces, e-commerce, enterprise).
  • Provide clear, actionable recommendations to developers and follow through on implementation.
  • Review sitemaps, robots.txt, indexation, crawl budget, page experience, schema, and site structure regularly.
  • Monitor ongoing technical performance and recommend improvements proactively.

Keyword Research & Content Strategy

  • Perform detailed keyword research, clustering, and mapping for existing and new pages.
  • Build complete content strategies and briefs aligned with SEO opportunities and business goals.
  • Analyze on-page opportunities and recommend improvements for titles, meta descriptions, headers, schema, internal linking, and content depth.
  • Coordinate with writers and editors to ensure content is optimized, accurate, and aligned with SEO best practices.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze performance using major SEO and analytics tools and extract meaningful insights.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports with actionable, client-ready recommendations.
  • Create clear presentations and slides for strategy reviews, QBRs, and new proposals.

Off-Page SEO

  • Conduct backlink audits, assess backlink profiles, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify harmful links and suggest disavow strategies when necessary.

Client Communication & Project Management

  • Join client calls, confidently present data/insights, and communicate recommendations clearly.
  • Coordinate with developers, writers, designers, and client stakeholders to ensure tasks move forward.
  • Manage tasks across multiple clients and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.

Research & Development

  • Stay up to date with algorithm updates, SERP changes, AI search evolution, and industry best practices.
  • Bring new ideas, tools, and frameworks that improve PShift s processes, reporting, and client results.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful SEO strategies for diverse industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screamingfrog.
  • Excellent understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
  • Experience working in a home-based or remote environment with strong self-management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
