Roles & Responsibilities
About the Position:
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Senior Show Mechanical Technician - Performance Lake join the resort s Performance Lake team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Operate and maintain mechanical systems and equipment used in live shows, including lifts, turntables, and special effects.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime during performances.
- Collaborate with show directors, stage managers, and other technicians to coordinate technical requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards in all technical operations.
- Participate in rehearsals and technical run-throughs to support show readiness.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of mechanical systems for special events and performances.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a live entertainment or theatrical environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
