Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented and accomplished senior site engineer to join our business. As a senior site engineer, you will manage projects, supervise staff, and provide technical advice as a subject matter expert.

Experience in finishing and bank projects is a plus

  • Managing parts of construction projects
  • Overseeing building work
  • Undertaking site surveys
  • Setting out sites and organising facilities
  • Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
  • Supervising contracted staff
  • Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
  • Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
  • Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
  • Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials.
  • Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering and construction companies.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil / structural engineering or related field from a reputable university.
  • Experience in construction projects and concrete building structures.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design.
  • Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
