Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee the on-site implementation of interior design plans, specifications, and concepts.
Manage and coordinate the work of contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other members of the design team to resolve technical challenges and ensure seamless project execution.
Review shop drawings and material submittals for accuracy and conformance to design intent.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and site personnel.
Manage project budgets related to on-site implementation, including material procurement and labor costs.
Maintain clear and concise communication with clients, stakeholders, and the design team regarding project progress and any potential delays or changes.
Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Resolve on-site design challenges creatively and effectively, proposing alternative solutions as needed.
Maintain detailed project documentation, including site reports, progress photos, and meeting minutes.
Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in interior design, with a significant focus on on-site execution and project management.
Proven ability to manage and coordinate complex interior design projects from start to finish.
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishes.
Excellent understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Experience working on high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects is highly desirable.
Familiarity with local (Dubai/UAE) regulations and construction practices is preferred.
Valid UAE driver's license is an advantage.
