Roles & Responsibilities

Role Description

We are seeking a qualified Senior Site Mechanical Engineer to join our team in New Cairo. This is a full-time on-site role where the engineer will be responsible for supervising and managing mechanical works on-site, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review shop drawings and compare them with design drawings to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare material and equipment take-offs and support procurement requests.
  • Assist the Construction Manager in preparing supply plans and manpower/equipment needs.
  • Supervise material deliveries, verify compliance with project specifications, and coordinate approvals with consultants.
  • Oversee execution of mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, etc.) within budget and quality standards.
  • Ensure proper coordination with other disciplines (civil, electrical, architectural) for smooth workflow.
  • Support in handing over completed mechanical works to consultants.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior site staff.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 7 years of overall experience in construction projects.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in site mechanical works
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
  • Strong problem-solving and site supervision skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively on-site in New Cairo.
