Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role: As a Senior Software Engineer based in Hyderabad, Telangana, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that drive business success and ensure system reliability. Responsibilities: Design and develop Java-based microservices using Spring Boot Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for enterprise applications Collaborate with product managers, QA, and DevOps to deliver robust software Optimize SQL queries and database schemas for performance and scalability Deploy and manage applications on AWS and container platforms using Docker and Kubernetes Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and enforce best practices Troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availability and reliability Contribute to architecture and design discussions for new features Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of professional experience in software development Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and building microservices architectures Strong understanding of REST API design and implementation Experience with relational databases (SQL) and query optimization Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) Containerization experience with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile teams Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, Grafana) Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) Experience mentoring and leading small engineering teams Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) or NoSQL databases Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning for cloud-native applications
