Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of custom Drupal-based web applications, working closely with project managers and other developers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and direction
  • Work with the development team to identify and implement best practices and standards for PHP and Drupal development
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that developed solutions are integrated seamlessly with the overall architecture
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in PHP and Drupal, and continuously seek opportunities to improve and expand your knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience as a PHP/Drupal developer
  • Strong understanding of PHP and Drupal, including custom module development and theming
  • Experience working with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with web development best practices, including agile methodologies and software design patterns
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Overview:

  • The Senior PHP/Drupal Developer is a crucial member of Vardot's development team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining custom web applications built on top of the Drupal platform.
  • This individual should have a strong understanding of PHP and Drupal and experience working with front-end technologies such as JavaScript frameworks, HTML/Twig, Sass, PostCSS, and similar.
  • In this role, you will lead the development of complex Drupal projects, working closely with our project managers and other developers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior developers and providing technical expertise to help drive the direction of our development efforts.
  • To be successful in this position, you should have at least 5 years of experience as a PHP/Drupal developer with a proven track record of delivering successful Drupal-based web applications.
  • You should have a strong understanding of web development best practices, including agile methodologies and software design patterns.
