Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software systems.

- Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution using industry-standard bug tracking tools.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and acceptance testing.

- Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality releases.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and provide quality input.

- Mentor and guide junior testing engineers, promoting best practices in automation and manual testing.

- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and coverage.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle. Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Appium) is highly desirable.

Tools: Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla) and version control systems (Git).

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Location: Based in Cairo, Egypt, or willing to relocate.
