Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Giza. In this key role, you will lead the quality assurance efforts for our software products, ensuring top-tier performance, reliability, and user experience. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test strategies, automate critical workflows, and mentor junior team members. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex software systems.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
  • Perform manual, functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce, isolate, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Mentor and guide junior testing engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in automation testing tools (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG or similar), scripting languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript), and API testing (Postman, REST Assured).

Knowledge: Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum frameworks.

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Mindset: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality.

Communication: Fluent in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
