Senior Software Validation Engineer - German Speaker

Responsibilities

• Design and implement validation test plans for embedded automotive systems.
• Develop and maintain automated test cases based on system requirements and use cases.
• Execute HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) tests to validate software functionality under simulated conditions.
• Automate test workflows including execution, data logging, and result analysis.
• Validate communication protocols such as CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Analyze test outcomes, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure validation processes comply with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and other relevant standards.
• Maintain and optimize test frameworks, tools, and HIL benches for efficient testing.
• Communicate effectively with German-speaking stakeholders and project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software validation testing for embedded systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with HIL systems and test automation tools (e.g., ECU-Test, CANoe, Python, CAPL).
• Good understanding of automotive protocols and standards.
• Fluent German (minimum B2 level) is mandatory.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills to support issue resolution.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to support efficient root cause analysis and issue resolution.
