Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing and driving the ideation and innovation processes within the organization. The primary goal will be to foster a culture of creativity and to identify, evaluate, and implement innovative ideas that align with the company's strategic objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage innovation projects, and ensure the successful development and execution of new initiatives.

Develop and implement processes and frameworks to encourage and capture innovative ideas from employees, customers, partners, and other stakeholders. Facilitate brainstorming sessions, workshops, and other creative sessions to generate new ideas and solutions. Evaluate and prioritize ideas based on their feasibility, potential impact, and alignment with strategic goals. Initiate IBTIKAR Campaigns Participate with potential winning ideas in Awards functions.

Collaborate with senior management to define and refine the organization's innovation strategy. Identify emerging trends and technologies that have the potential to drive innovation and business growth. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about the industry landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation. Update the related innovation and Ibtikar committees with important information.

Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and implementation of innovation projects. Define project goals, milestones, and deliverables, and ensure they are achieved within the specified timelines and budget. Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.

Engage and communicate with internal stakeholders at various levels to gather feedback, address concerns, and gain support for innovation initiatives. Initiate brainstorming sessions designed for related clusters/Units.

Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of innovation initiatives. Regularly assess and evaluate the outcomes of implemented ideas, projects, and programs. Use data and insights to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
