Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Specialist will oversee the development and implementation of procurement strategies across various categories, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya s vision and objectives. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, enhancing supplier relationships, and driving efficient procurement practices essential to the project's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic procurement plans that meet project requirements while achieving cost efficiencies and quality standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with all procurement policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to align procurement strategies with operational needs and timelines.
  • Implement supplier diversity and localization initiatives to support local economic development.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports, providing insights for decision-making and strategy formulation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably in large-scale projects or sectors such as construction and infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field; Master s degree is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
