Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement business continuity strategies by driving Abu Dhabi Ports Group Business Continuity Management Framework fulfilling & complying with the requirements of national and international regulations and practices, such as standards ISO 22301:2019 and NCEMA 7000:2021.
- Conduct Business Impact Assessment (BIA) to determine impacts of disruption on business operations, prioritize recovery strategies tailored to the organization s specific needs and risks to ensure AD Ports Groups resilience in the event of disruptions.
- Update and refine recovery plans based on lessons learned from exercises, incidents, and changes in the business environment.
- Prepare training programs to promote a culture of preparedness and resilience throughout AD Ports Group.
- Coordinate tests and exercises to integrate and validate the effectiveness of business units' disruption recovery capabilities, focusing on simulating worst-case scenarios.
- Handle AD Ports Group BCMS Audit Program through following up, providing expertise recommendation, and monitoring the closure of Non-conformities of Internal, External and 3rd party Audits in a timely manner.
- Investigate disruptions to identify corrective actions; hence, minimize the probability of recurrence of disaster wherever applicable.
- Oversight business units maturity by conducting annual maturity assessments in the aim of identifying current state, targeting a pioneered position, and reaching to an advanced state of proactive management.
- Support Incident Management Team (IMT) and Business Continuity Team (BCM Rep s) to ensure activating/ implementing relevant business continuity plans when required.
- Maintain thorough and up to date BCMs documentation of all business continuity activities and provide regular reports to top management on performance and achievement of established plans.

Desired Candidate Profile
Educational and Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in relevant profession. Master's degree is a plus.
- Strong Knowledge of Business Continuity Standards and frameworks such as ISO 22301:2019. Valid Lead Auditor Certificate in ISO 22301 is an addition.
- Industry recognized certification with relevance to Business Continuity Management is preferred.
Language Skills:
- Excellent English and Arabic
Years of Experience:
- A minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Nature of Experience:
- Commitment demonstrated through hard work and the achievement of performance targets.
- Extensive & sufficient knowledge of Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management and Emergency Management.
